Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Lafia Participates in World Hepatitis Day Event
The event, held in Gandu, a neighboring community of the University, featured a road walk from the Take-off Site to Gandu, along with Hepatitis B and C testing, counseling sessions, and vaccination.
Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), attended an event marking World Hepatitis Day with the theme, “It’s Time for Action.”
The event, held in Gandu, a neighboring community of the University, featured a road walk from the Take-off Site to Gandu, along with Hepatitis B and C testing, counseling sessions, and vaccination.
Organized by the FULafia Community Service Committee in collaboration with the Nasarawa State Ministry of Health, and the departments of medical laboratory science and social work, the event aimed to raise awareness and provide crucial health services to the community.
