The Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) reached a significant milestone on Friday, January 9, 2026, as 175 foreign-trained Nigerian pharmacists were officially inducted into the profession. The Oath-Taking and Induction Ceremony took place at the National Universities Commission (NUC) in Maitama, Abuja.

The inductees represent the successful graduates of the second cycle of the 2025 Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Orientation Programme (FPGOP). The ceremony follows an intensive orientation and examination process designed to bridge international training with the specific regulatory and clinical requirements of the Nigerian healthcare environment.
