A total of 41 students graduated with first class honors at the Federal University Lokoja during its eighth convocation ceremony.

A remarkable achievement has been recorded at the Federal University Lokoja (FUL), Kogi State, where a total of 41 students have graduated with first class honors during the institution's eighth convocation ceremony.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, announced this milestone on Monday at the Felele campus, highlighting the impressive academic performance of the graduating class. In addition to the first class graduates, he revealed that 461 students received Second Class Upper degrees, while 974 graduated with Second Class Lower honors. Furthermore, 384 students earned Third Class degrees, and 3 graduates completed their studies with Pass degrees.

"This is a significant moment not just for the university but for the graduates and their families, as it marks the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance," Prof. Akinwumi stated.

The Vice-Chancellor also noted that honorary degrees would be conferred upon distinguished individuals who have made substantial contributions to the university and the nation.

"I wish to take this opportunity to congratulate our students. Their achievements are a source of immense pride for all of us at the University.
