AAU suspends studentship of 3 students over various offences
Ambrose Alli University (AAU) has suspended studentship of 3 students over various offences, Myschoolnews report
The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor A.S. Adagbonyin has, on behalf of Senate, and in exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Law 1999,(as amended) and other regulations enabling him to act in that behalf, approved that, the studentship of the underlisted have been suspended with immediate effect for their alleged offences bordering on:
1. Occupation of the hostel illegally
2. Locking out of Senior Officers of the University in the Line of duty
3. Holding hostage University Staff performing their duties
4. Seizing of University Official Cars
5. Locking up of the gate to the Hostel to prevent entry or exit: and
6. Attacking of the University Cameraman
The studentship of the affected students are, therefore, suspended with immediate effect. Furthermore, they are to be arraigned before the Students' Disciplinary Committee.
By copies of this letter, all relevant University organs and their sponsors are being informed for their information and necessary action.
