ABU Hosts Inaugural "Lunch with the Vice Chancellor" Event

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) recently hosted the maiden edition of "Lunch with the Vice Chancellor," a groundbreaking event that brought together 100 students from across all 18 faculties. The event, held at Yusuf Bala Usman Hall on September 6, 2025, featured inspiring lectures on leadership and personal growth.

Ambassador Shuaibu Ahmed, Senior Partner at Ahmed Zakari & Co., delivered powerful lectures, while Mr. Muhtar Bakare, Chairman of The Alternative Bank, provided a thought-provoking keynote address. The event also included an interactive Q&A session, where students engaged with the distinguished speakers and Vice Chancellor Professor Adamu Ahmed, discussing campus-related challenges.

The event saw participation from a diverse group of students, including undergraduates, postgraduates, student leaders, and students with special needs. The Presidents of the Students' Representative Council (SRC) and Postgraduate Representative Council (PRC) delivered commendation speeches, appreciating the Vice Chancellor for creating a platform for engagement.
