To be eligible for undergraduate admission at ABUAD, prospective students must meet the following criteria:
1. O'Level Subjects and Grades:
- Candidates must obtain credit level passes (minimum of C6 grade) in at least 5 subjects at the O'Level examinations.
- Compulsory subjects include English Language, Mathematics, and other relevant subjects related to the intended course of study.
- Accepted O'Level exam bodies include WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, and GCE, with results not older than 5 years. Applicants awaiting results can also apply but must provide their results before matriculation.
2. UTME Subjects and Scores:
- Applicants must sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by JAMB and score a minimum of 180.
- UTME subjects must be relevant to the proposed program of study, with ABUAD selected as the first-choice institution during UTME registration.
3. Post-UTME Screening:
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo a post-UTME screening exercise, which includes written exams and oral interviews to assess academic proficiency and readiness for university education.
4. Direct Entry Admission:
- Direct entry candidates must possess 5 O'Level credit passes and relevant qualifications such as ND, NCE, IJMB, JUPEB, or equivalent.
- UTME may be optional for direct entry placement into the 200 level.
