Academic activities temporarily suspended, we did not shutdown the university - AAU management replies alumni

In response to recent claims made by AAU alumni regarding a supposed university shutdown, the management of Ambrose Alli University has issued a clarification, Myschoolnews report.

Contrary to reports, the university has not been officially shut down, but rather, academic activities have been temporarily suspended on campus as a precautionary measure to prevent potential violence amidst ongoing student protests.

The university administration emphasized that essential administrative functions continue to operate. Services such as the collection of certificates and academic transcripts are still available. However, the situation has been complicated by protesters who have barricaded the school's main gate, preventing staff from entering the premises to carry out their administrative duties.

The management wishes to underline that this suspension of academic activities is a proactive measure taken in the interest of safety and to ensure that the university community remains secure during the ongoing protests.

Ambrose Alli University remains committed to the well-being of its students and the academic community while seeking an amicable resolution to the current situation.
