AE-FUNAI Law Students to Represent Nigeria at Global Competition in Switzerland

Two law students, Okechukwu Amarachi Sharon and Okeosisi Amarachi Miracle, both in their 500-level, from Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI) are set to represent Nigeria at the prestigious 16th edition of the Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition in Switzerland. The international competition is slated for July 15th to 19th, 2024.

AE-FUNAI Law Students to Represent Nigeria at Global Competition in Switzerland

 Two law students from Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI) are set to represent Nigeria at the prestigious 16th edition of the Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition in Switzerland.

Reports indicate that AE-FUNAI, located in Ebonyi State, secured the top position among Nigerian universities during the 16th edition of the virtual competition held in May 2024. Outperforming over 20 Nigerian universities, AE-FUNAI emerged as the clear winner. Globally, approximately 200 universities from Africa, America, Asia, Europe, and United Nations regions participated in this intellectually rigorous event.

The two outstanding students, Okechukwu Amarachi Sharon and Okeosisi Amarachi Miracle, both in their 500-level at the Faculty of Law, will represent Nigeria in the grand finale scheduled to take place at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. The international competition is slated for July 15th to 19th, 2024.
