Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Announces Commencement of 2024 SIWES Training

The management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, has announced the commencement of the 2024 batch of the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES), starting on Monday, November 11, 2024.

The four-month supervised training program will conclude on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Students are expected to return to campus for regular academic activities on Monday, March 10, 2025. Those who will be undertaking their training outside Akwa Ibom State are advised to submit their Student Commencement of Attachment Form (SCAF) at the nearest Industrial Training Fund (ITF) office and ensure their logbooks are signed before resuming school.

This notice was issued by the SIWES Coordinator, Mr. Aniefiok Affiah, on behalf of the Registrar. Students and staff involved in the program are encouraged to take note of the schedule.
