Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has released the approved academic calendar for the Second Semester of the 2025/2026 academic session, outlining key dates for resumption, registration, lectures, examinations, and student activities.

According to the calendar, academic activities will commence with the arrival of all students on Friday, May 29, 2026.

Key dates in the schedule are as follows:

  • Friday, May 29, 2026: Arrival of all students
  • Monday, June 1, 2026: Registration of all students begins
  • Wednesday, June 3, 2026: Lectures commence for all students
  • Friday, July 3, 2026: End of regular registration
  • Monday, July 6, 2026: Late registration begins
  • Friday, July 31, 2026: End of late registration
  • Tuesday, September 15, 2026: Lectures end
  • Wednesday, September 16, 2026: Student Week begins
  • Friday, September 18, 2026: End of Student Week
  • Sunday, September 20, 2026: Interdenominational Service
  • Monday, September 21, 2026: Second Semester Examinations begin
