The meeting, held on Thursday, saw MAPOLY's management, led by Rector Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, warmly receive the five-member Penn State delegation. The delegation included Prof. Sylvester Osagie, Associate Director of Africa Partnerships and Director of the Faculty Fulbright Program; Kimberly Lawless, Dean of the College of Education; Sjoerd Willem Duiker, Professor of Soil Management & Applied Soil Physics; Esther Obonyo, Professor of Engineering Design and Architectural Engineering; and Mel White, Senior Director of Special Projects & Coordination.
Dr. Odedeji expressed MAPOLY’s commitment to the partnership, highlighting the institution's readiness to collaborate on research and exchange programs. He emphasized the polytechnic’s pool of researchers who are eager to engage in joint initiatives. Odedeji also praised the Olowu of Owu Kingdom for facilitating this partnership, assuring that the collaboration will enhance research and teaching at MAPOLY.
