ASR Africa Commences N280m Integrated Publishing House Construction at Babcock University

The Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative (ASR Africa), led by BUA Group Chairman Abdul Samad Rabiu, has initiated the construction of a N280 million Rabiu Integrated Publishing House at Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State. This facility will transform the university's current press capabilities into a modern, integrated publishing house, supporting publishing, print production, and diversified services.

The new one-storey building will serve as a laboratory and studio for students in communications, media studies, and related disciplines. The Vice Chancellor of Babcock University, Prof. Ademola Tayo, expressed his satisfaction with ASR Africa's support, aligning with the university's vision to elevate its Mass Communications Department.
Prof. Tayo highlighted that the university aims to develop students into critical thinkers and problem-solvers who can provide innovative solutions to social, political, and cultural issues.
Dr. Ubon Udoh, Managing Director of ASR Africa, praised the university's decision to establish the Integrated Publishing House, emphasizing the transformative power of information. He reiterated the commitment of ASR Africa and Abdul Samad Rabiu to supporting quality education in Nigeria. Dr. Udoh also stressed the importance of collaboration between the university and the contractor to ensure the project's timely completion.
