ASUP Federal Polytechnic Bali Chapter Rejects New Scheme of Service, Cites Biases Against Polytechnic Sector
The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic (ASUP), Bali Chapter, has vehemently opposed the newly released scheme of service, citing its detrimental impact on the polytechnic sector.

Comrade Mohammed Umar Ali, Chairman of ASUP Bali Chapter, addressed a press conference, highlighting the scheme's perceived biases against sector employees.
Comrade Ali emphasized the need for an urgent review of the scheme, aligning with the resolutions of the Council of Norms and the National Executive Council (NEC). He appealed to the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and the Ministry of Education to intervene and address concerns raised by ASUP and other unions.

The union leader questioned the necessity of introducing the National Skills Qualification (NSQ) as a promotion criterion for members, stating that polytechnics are already equipped to impart skills.
