The NLC's National Executive Council, during its meeting on August 31, 2023, announced a two-day warning strike scheduled for Tuesday, September 5th, and Wednesday, September 6th, 2023. As an affiliate of the NLC, ASUU has resolved to stand in unity with the labor movement and partake in this significant action.

In a statement released by Cmd. Ibrahim Yusuf Bako, Secretary of ASUU-BOsU, members were urged to fully comply with this directive, emphasizing the importance of collective action in addressing critical labor issues.
