Atiba University Graduates 197 Students In Six Years

Atiba University, Oyo, has successfully graduated 197 students from different faculties in six years while competing with other existing private universities in Nigeria, recent empirical study has revealed.

Atiba University, Oyo, has successfully graduated 197 students from different faculties in six years while competing with other existing private universities in Nigeria, recent empirical study has revealed.

 the progressive development ongoing in the institution is a reflection of the solid academic and administrative mentoring it had with the Obafemi Awolowo University during its takeoff in 2017 and upon which the current management under the leadership of Professor Sunday Okeniyi, the vice chancellor, has built.

So far, the university has inducted 23 graduates into the Nursing profession in Nigeria and graduated a cumulative total of 197 students from different faculties in just six years since it started academic programmes. Five of them had First Class honours.

Speaking further, the vice chancellor declared that all the university’s programmes presented to the National Universities Commission (NUC) for accreditation have been given full accreditation, while some came with interim.

He added that the university has entered into partnership with New Horizon Systems Solutions Limited, in its quest to fulfill the mandate of being a repository, creator and disseminator of knowledge, as well as producing highly qualified graduates equipped with core Information Communication Technology skills.

The maiden convocation was organized for the graduating students for the 2020/2021, 2021/2022, and 2022/2023 sets respectively.
