The Bauchi State Teachers Service Commission has demoted Musa Ahmed, the Principal of Government Day Secondary School, Kirfi, and a Senior Master, Adamu Shehu, following their involvement in the unauthorized sale of school property, according to a statement from the commission’s Information Officer, Dahiru Adamu

The decision came after a four-man investigative committee, led by the commission’s overseeing Permanent Secretary, Garba Bashe, found both educators guilty of misconduct. The items reportedly sold include 32 scrapped student beds, nine jumbo aluminum pots, and roofing zinc.
