Bayero University Mourns as Environmental Science Student Passes Away

The Bayero University Kano (BUK) community has been plunged into mourning following the passing of a student from the Department of Environmental Science, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences. 

The student reportedly returned to Allah after a courageous and prolonged battle with a brain-related illness. The news has sparked an outpouring of grief across the campus, with classmates and faculty members describing the loss of the young scholar as a profound tragedy.

Funeral prayers (Janaza) were scheduled to take place today at Sheka Baranda, drawing a large gathering of students, friends, and sympathizers paying their final respects.

The university community continues to offer prayers for the deceased, asking for the forgiveness of his shortcomings and for Jannatul Firdaus to be his final abode. Colleagues have also extended their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, praying for them to find the strength to navigate this difficult period.
