Bayero University Resolves Decades-Long Land Dispute

Bayero University Kano (BUK) has successfully resolved a decades-long land dispute with the Danzakara community. The breakthrough was facilitated by the intervention of Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf.

The university's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, said the state's Ministry of Land had demarcated the university's boundaries, and the affected communities had agreed to relocate. He announced that funding had been secured for the fencing project, which would commence soon.
