Rosemary Oriwoh, a graduating Nursing student at Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), shared bittersweet emotions as she received accolades for her academic achievements alongside news of her mother's passing. Despite her grief, Rosemary expressed gratitude for her success, dedicating her awards to God, her family, and friends.
Rosemary, who received three awards, including Best Graduating Student of the Faculty of Nursing, was granted a total of N450,000 in scholarships. The founder of ABUAD, Aare Afe Babalola, emphasized his commitment to rewarding excellence and encouraging scholarship among students.

Babalola underscored the university's mission to transform tertiary education in Nigeria and nurture graduates who can effect positive change in society. He urged the newly inducted nurses to explore opportunities in their profession and serve as ambassadors of their chosen careers.
The Vice-Chancellor of ABUAD, Prof. Smaranda Olarinde, praised the faculty's outstanding performance, citing a 100 percent pass rate in various qualifying examinations. She reaffirmed ABUAD's reputation as the premier destination for Nursing education in Nigeria.
