She also highlighted the difficulties she encountered, including pressure to compromise her standards. “Again they said it was going to be difficult for me to aspire for this position if I also don’t compromise my standard even if I knew I was competent for it but yet I didn’t relent and I also didn’t give it an option to compromise and start sleeping around with men just to get financial support,” Hart added.

Hart believes that people have high expectations of her, and she is determined to meet them. “I believe the people are expecting so much from me. Among my primary things I want to achieve are inclusive decision making, diverse representation, improvement of female aspire conference, strengthening campus welfare amongst others.”

Her victory is seen as a significant achievement for the Faculty of Law at RSU, where she is a standout student. As the new SUG Vice President, Hart is expected to bring her leadership skills to the forefront and contribute positively to the student body.
