Borno State University Welcomes Accreditation Panel from National Universities Commission

Borno State University (BOSU) has welcomed a team of accreditors from the National Universities Commission (NUC) Abuja, who are in the institution to conduct an accreditation exercise for the Department of Education Economics.

The team, led by Professor Titus Umaru of the Federal University Lokoja, was received by the Vice-Chancellor of BOSU, Professor Babagana Gutti. Professor Umaru commended the university management for the warm reception and assured that the team would perform its duty diligently, objectively, and passionately.

Professor Gutti, in his response, thanked the team for accepting the challenge to come to BOSU despite security concerns. He emphasized the importance of accreditation to the university and assured the team of his support and cooperation, as well as that of the Dean and staff of the Department, towards the success of their assignment.
