BOSU Mass Communication Department Honors Vice-Chancellor Prof. Babagana Gutti with Award for Excellence

The Department of Mass Communication, Borno State University (BOSU), has conferred an Award of Excellent Leadership on the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Babagana Gutti, in recognition of his outstanding leadership and support for academic growth in the university.

The award was presented during a practical session for 300-level students enrolled in the Advanced Public Relations course, where students gained real-world experience in planning and executing a professional PR event.

The Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration, Professor Mustapha Bulama Shettima, represented the Vice-Chancellor and received the award on his behalf. He expressed appreciation for the honor and reiterated the Vice-Chancellor's commitment to supporting impactful academic initiatives in the university.

The occasion highlighted the department's drive to bridge theory and practice in public relations education, while also showcasing the university's appreciation for its leadership.
