BUK Maintains Prestige, Records Academic, Administrative Milestones - VC

In a recent address to the congregation, Vice Chancellor Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas highlighted Bayero University, Kano's continuous elevation in academic and administrative spheres, reaffirming its status among Nigeria's premier institutions.

The 2023 promotion exercise marked a significant success, with 38 senior academics promoted to Professor and 51 to Associate Professors.

Four Principal Assistant Registrars in the Registry Department attained the rank of Deputy Registrar.

BUK maintains its prestigious position in global rankings, securing the 5th spot among Nigerian universities in the Times Higher Education (THE) world university ranking.
