Caleb University, located in Imota, Lagos, has been honored with the prestigious 'Best Private University in Nigeria Award 2024'. The recognition was bestowed upon the institution at the African Education Monitor Magazine Awards ceremony held at Sheraton Hotels, Ikeja, Lagos. Olawale Adekoya, the Information, Media, and Publication Specialist at Caleb University, announced this achievement in a statement.
According to Adekoya, this accolade marks a double celebration for Caleb University, following its recent receipt of the 'Living Legacy Platinum-Gold Award for Outstanding Innovations, Youth Development, and Social Impact' at the Lagos-Ikeja City Awards 2024. Professor Nosa Owens-Ibie, the Vice Chancellor of Caleb University, received the award on behalf of the institution, supported by two Caleb parents who praised the quality of education their children received.

Prof. Owens-Ibie emphasized the distinctive nature of Caleb University's programs, particularly in Mass Communication, Computer Science, Law, International Relations, Accounting, Microbiology, and Business Administration. He highlighted the institution's alignment with industry demands, strong professional affiliations, full accreditations, and high investor confidence.
Moreover, Caleb University recently achieved another milestone by becoming the first private university in Nigeria to host the Secretariat of the Nigerian Association of Architecture Students. The institution is slated to host the Association's Annual Convention starting from June 9th. Additionally, the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria recently approved Caleb University's Nursing Science program, which is now in its inaugural session.
