Caribbean Scholar Visits ABU, Discusses Collaboration with Vice-Chancellor

Ahmadu Bello University welcomed Prof. Chris Ogunsalo, a scholar from the University of West Indies in the Caribbean, who paid a courtesy visit to the university's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Adamu Ahmed.

During the meeting, Prof. Ogunsalo praised the Faculty of Dentistry's new building, describing it as "robust" with great potential.

Prof. Ogunsalo, who is serving as a visiting lecturer at ABU's College of Medical Sciences, discussed his plans to develop modules for teaching oral biology and other dental subjects. He also pledged to support the faculty in establishing postgraduate programs and setting up an implantology center, which he believes could generate revenue for the faculty.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ahmed, thanked Prof. Ogunsalo for his visit and assured him of the university's commitment to supporting his initiatives. Prof. Ahmed also lauded Prof. Ogunsalo's plans for financial sustainability and appreciated his kind gesture.
