The partnership aims to enhance digital service delivery and advance the University’s vision for technological excellence.

The partnership aims to enhance digital service delivery and advance the University’s vision for technological excellence.
Under the MoU, APPLEAD will collaborate with COOU to develop, deploy, and maintain the Student Life Cycle Portal (SLCP), a platform accessible online and via mobile devices. The SLCP is designed to manage student records, data, and lifecycle activities efficiently, forming a cornerstone of the University’s digital transformation strategy.
Welcoming the APPLEAD team, Vice-Chancellor Professor Kate Azuka Omenugha fnipr highlighted COOU’s commitment to transitioning from analogue operations to a modern, fully digital system. She noted that the SLCP is part of a broader innovation agenda and stressed alignment with the vision of Anambra State Governor Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, aimed at building a digitally skilled generation. Professor Omenugha emphasised that COOU students must actively engage with emerging digital ecosystems as part of the “Anambra Digital Tribe.”
APPLEAD’s representative, Professor Ikechukwuka Onyenwe, assured University Management of the company’s proven track record in ICT services and reaffirmed their commitment to providing top-tier technology solutions to support COOU’s needs.
Director of ICT at COOU, Engineer Professor John Paul Iloh, commended the Vice-Chancellor for the initiative and pledged to leverage the partnership to strengthen ICT operations for the benefit of the entire University community.
The signing ceremony was attended by key University Management members, including Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration and Environmental Sustainability) Professor Anselem Nweke; Acting University Bursar Dr. Nath Udezuo; Director of Academic Planning Professor Nneka Nnorom; Deputy Legal Officer Dr. Maryqueen Ucheagwu-Okoye; University Public Relations Officer Dr. Harrison Madubueze; and Special Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor on Strategy and Policy Implementation Dr. Chukwunonso Ekesiobi.
The event concluded with a shared commitment to ensuring the partnership drives COOU’s transition into a fully digital and globally competitive university.
