COHEADS Appoints FEDPOFFA Rector As President Of NIPOGA Caretaker Committee

The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin FNSE has been appointed as the President of Caretaker Committee of Nigeria Polytechnic Games (NIPOGA) by the Council of Heads of Polytechnics and Colleges of Technology in Nigeria (COHEADS).

This was contained in a letter of appointment addressed to the Rector and signed by the Secretary General of the Council, Masud Elelu on Wednesday 29th of May 2024.

The letter, read in part :

"The Council of Heads of Polytechnics and Colleges of Technology in Nigeria (COHEADS) at its 155th regular meeting held on Wednesday 22nd May, 2024 dissolved the NIPOGA Council and approved that a caretaker committee to oversee the affairs of the NIPOGA Council be put in place.

"Consequently, the members of COHEADS have appointed you as the President of the Caretaker Committee of NIPOGA Council, particularly that the hosting right of the game, (22nd edition) is awarded to your institution during the 154th regular meeting on February 28th 2024."
