The College of Education, Akwanga, in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and NDLEA, is organizing a sensitization campaign against drug abuse, cultism, and kidnapping on July 24, 2024.

The Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, in collaboration with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), is set to conduct a crucial sensitization campaign against drug abuse, cultism, and kidnapping within tertiary institutions across Nasarawa State. The campaign aims to educate and inform the academic community about the dangers and preventive measures against these vices. The College Management encourages all staff and students to participate actively in this significant event. This campaign represents a proactive step towards fostering a safer and more informed college environment.

- Attendees: The memo, issued by Dr. Mohammed Umaru Gwamna, Dean of Students Affairs Division, has been circulated to all relevant parties including staff, students, deans, directors, heads of departments, the Student Union Government (SUG), the National Association of Nigerian Students (NASSA), and the College of Education, Akwanga/Abubakar Balewa University (COEA/ABU).
