The David Umahi Federal University Teaching Hospital, Uburu (DUFUTH) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening institutional leadership and human capital development through a high-impact study tour in the United Kingdom.

Leading the hospital’s representation was the Chief Medical Administrator (C-MAC), Dr. Darlington-Peter Ugoji, who participated in the international training programme facilitated by the Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN) in partnership with TGS Learning UK.

According to Agwu Nwogo Jnr., Public Relations Officer, DUFUTH, the UK tour was designed to expose senior administrators from federal and state institutions to global best practices in leadership, systems management, and quality improvement.

The intensive sessions covered key areas including system thinking, quality improvement methodologies, effective presentation techniques, and compassionate leadership. Participants were equipped with practical frameworks to enhance performance and drive institutional excellence.
