Dorben Polytechnic Abuja is inviting applications from qualified candidates for admissions into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programs for the 2024/2025 academic session. Both full-time and part-time programs are available across various fields.

Important Admission Notes:

- Admission into the ND full-time programs requires adherence to the JAMB CAPS process.

- Applicants must score a minimum of 100 points in the 2024/2025 JAMB/UTME.

- Candidates wishing to change their institution to Dorben Polytechnic can do so through the JAMB portal if they meet the minimum score requirement.

JAMB CAPS Registration:

- Create a JAMB CAPS account and link your email and phone number.

- Regularly check your admission status through the JAMB CAPS portal, where it will update as "Admitted."

Acceptance and Registration:

- Candidates who receive admission must accept their offer on JAMB CAPS, print the acceptance letter, and submit it at the Dorben Polytechnic Admission Office, located on Garam-Bwari Road.

- JAMB UTME Result Slip

- O' Level results

- Birth Certificate

- State of Origin Certificate

General Admission Requirements:

National Diploma:

- Five O' Level credits in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics.

- JAMB/UTME with a minimum of 100 points (for ND full-time only).

Higher National Diploma:

- National Diploma in a relevant field with a minimum of Lower Credit from a recognized Polytechnic.

- Five O' Level credits, including English and Mathematics.

- Evidence of one year (12 months) of industrial training experience.

Special Considerations:

Dorben Polytechnic offers a 20% scholarship on tuition fees for:

- Military and paramilitary personnel recommended for admission by their offices.

- Female students enrolled in Science and Engineering programmes.

Application Procedure:

1. Obtain the admission form from the Admission Office at the Main Campus in Garam.

2. Fill out the admission form and submit it along with the required documents.
