Dr. Joe Chukwu Celebrates Appointment and Promotion at Alex Ekwueme Federal University

Dr. Joe Chukwu has been appointed as the 3rd Head of the Mass Communication Department at Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu Alike Ikwo, and promoted to Senior Lecturer, effective October 1, 2024. He expressed deep gratitude for the support and requested continued prayers to meet high expectations in his new roles.

Dr. Joe Chukwu has expressed deep gratitude for his recent appointment as the 3rd Head of the Mass Communication Department at Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu Alike Ikwo (AE-FUNAI), and his promotion to Senior Lecturer.

In a Facebook post, Dr. Chukwu remarked on the overwhelming support he has received since the announcement of his new role. "Since the release of my appointment as the 3rd Head of Department of Mass Communication, AE-FUNAI, the ovation has been loud and deafening, almost exceeding the prescribed decibel level. And it is only for an appointment."

He further shared that he has also been promoted to Senior Lecturer, effective October 1, 2024. "Honestly, I lack words, appropriate words, to express my gratitude to, first, ‘that man upstairs’ - GOD -, the Vice Chancellor, and the management for making the appointment possible, and you for roundly celebrating me in the media space, your phone calls and messages."

Dr. Chukwu requested continued support in the form of prayers, acknowledging the high expectations and the limited time to meet them. "I ask you for one and only one thing in the midst of this euphoria: your fervent prayer. Yes, I need your prayer because the expectations are high and the tenure to accomplish them is too short."

He concluded by thanking everyone for their extraordinary support and solidarity.
