 Dr. Babatunde Olofinbiyi, a distinguished Reader/Consultant Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, and Minimal Access Surgeon at Ekiti State University College of Medicine/Teaching Hospital, has earned accolades from the Ekiti State House of Assembly for his significant academic contributions that have made a profound impact on the state's development.

The Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Barrister Adeoye Aribasoye, commended Dr. Olofinbiyi's remarkable achievements at a recent plenary session. The Ekiti State University (EKSU) research team's article titled, "Randomized Controlled Trial on Early Versus Late Feeding after Caesarean Section at a Teaching Hospital in Southwest Nigeria," emerged as the best among thousands of rigorously screened and published original articles from the journal.
