Ekiti State University, has opened its doors to interested candidates seeking admission into full-time bachelor's degree programs for the 2023/2024 academic session. These programs are offered in affiliation with Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin.

The available programs lead to the attainment of various Bachelor's Degrees, including:

1. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Nursery/Primary Education

2. Bachelor of Arts (Education) (B.A.Ed) in Education/French and Education/English

3. Bachelor of Science (Education) (B.Sc.Ed) in Education/Biology, Education/Chemistry, Education/Economics, and Education/Social Studies

Admission Requirements for UTME Candidates:

To be eligible for admission through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

- Obtain five credit passes in SSCE (WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB) at no more than two sittings.

- Secure five Credit Passes in the Teachers Grade II Examination, which must include English Language.

- Have successfully written and passed the 2023 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

- Attain a UTME score in the 2023 examination that meets or exceeds the prescribed national cut-off mark, which is set at 160.

- Successfully pass the post-UTME screening exercise to be conducted by the College.

Direct Entry Candidates (3-Year Full-Time Program):

Candidates applying through the Direct Entry route must meet the following entry requirements:

- Obtain a pass at credit/merit level in two subjects at the National Certificate in Education (NCE) examination, with GCE 'O' level credit or its equivalent in three subjects, including English. Alternatively, a pass at the NCE General English is acceptable in lieu of credit at the SSCE/GCE/'O' level.

- Achieve two passes at the advanced level GCE, accompanied by SSCE/GCE 'O' level credit passes in three other subjects, including English Language.

- It's important to note that admission for Direct Entry candidates is contingent on their success in the Post UTME screening exercise to be conducted by the admitting college.
