Eko University of Medicine and Health Sciences (EkoUNIMED) has announced the commencement of the admission process for the 2024/2025 academic session. Prospective students are invited to apply online for various undergraduate programs in the Faculties of Clinical Sciences and Basic Medical Sciences.

Faculty of Clinical Sciences:

  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) – Duration: 5 or 6 years

Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences:

  • BSc. in Human Anatomy
  • BSc. in Medical Biochemistry
  • BSc. in Human Physiology
  • BSc. in Pharmacology
    • Duration of Programs: 3 or 4 years

Admission Requirements

General Requirements:

  • A minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE ‘O’ level through WAEC/NECO (or equivalent recognized by the university) in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • The credits must be obtained in no more than two (2) sittings.
  • UTME cut-off mark: 200 for MBBS, 150 for Basic Medical Sciences.
  • Additional criteria may include an interview.

Specific Requirements for MBBS Degree Program:

  • Graduates from recognized universities with a B.Sc. in Basic Medical Sciences or Biological Sciences (minimum 2nd Class Lower Division).
  • At least two Advanced Level GCE Passes at acceptable grade levels.
  • Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) qualifications at acceptable grade levels.

Specific Requirements for Basic Medical Sciences:

  • Graduates from recognized universities (minimum B.Sc. 2nd Class Lower Division).
  • NCE at credit level, ND, and approved equivalents with at least Lower Credit in relevant fields.
  • At least two Advanced Level GCE Passes at acceptable grade levels.
  • JUPEB qualifications at acceptable grade levels.
