The Centre for Foundation Programmes (CFFP) of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, has commenced admission into its Pre-Degree and JUPEB Programmes for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

The Centre for Foundation Programmes (CFFP) of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, has commenced admission into its Pre-Degree and JUPEB Programmes for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

In a statement signed by Ife Oluwole, FNIM, Registrar, the university invited qualified candidates—especially those without UTME qualifications—to take advantage of the opportunities offered through the one-year Pre-Degree and JUPEB programmes, which serve as entry routes into EKSU undergraduate programmes.

Purpose and Duration

The Pre-Degree and JUPEB programmes each run for one academic session. They are designed to prepare candidates for admission into the university’s undergraduate classes after successfully completing the programmes and fulfilling all admission requirements, including JAMB registration where applicable.

  • The Pre-Degree programme qualifies candidates for 100-level admission.
  • The JUPEB programme qualifies candidates for 200-level admission.

Entry Requirements and Available Courses

Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE O’Level or equivalent examinations in relevant subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings.

Successful students will be admitted into their respective undergraduate programmes upon completion of the Pre-Degree or JUPEB session and fulfillment of admission criteria. Interested candidates are to visit the university’s admission portal at eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng and click on PRE-DEGREE or JUPEB (as applicable) to make payment and complete their application online. Applicants are required to log in with their email and password to upload personal data and complete the Application Form for submission.
