Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, has announced the disbursement of N44.1 million in bursaries to 294 Enugu indigenes currently enrolled across seven campuses of the Nigerian Law School nationwide. This initiative, aimed at bolstering human capital development, has seen 284 beneficiaries already receive N150,000 each following verification.

Additionally, Governor Mbah awarded a N12 million scholarship to Miss Chidiogo Igwebuike from Ukana, Udi LGA, Enugu State. The scholarship is earmarked for her training as a pilot at the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology in Zaria, Kaduna State.

Reacting to these developments, the National Association of Enugu State Law Students expressed gratitude, hailing the governor's commitment to educational advancement amidst challenging economic times. In a joint statement, the association underscored the significance of the bursaries in alleviating financial burdens and enabling students to focus on their studies.

Furthermore, Miss Igwebuike, a recent graduate of Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, joins a cohort of beneficiaries of Governor Mbah's educational support, following a previous scholarship award to another promising student.
