FCE Abeokuta Alumni Gift Million Naira Worth of Computers to Alma Mater

FCE Abeokuta Alumni Gift Million Naira Worth of Computers to Alma Mater

The Federal College of Education (FCE), Osiele Abeokuta, Ogun State, received a generous donation of  sets worth one million naira from the 1993 set of alumni during their 30th-anniversary and reunion ceremony held on November 18, 2023.

The donation, a commendable gesture of giving back to their alma mater, aims to enhance the institution's capabilities in Information Communication and Technology (ICT). The computers were handed over during the reunion ceremony at Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Alhaji Temitope Balogun, the Alumni National President, expressed gratitude to the 1993 set for their contribution to the development of the college. He emphasized the positive impact the computer sets would have on the college's growth in the realm of ICT.

Dr. Rafiu Soyele, the Provost of the institution, acknowledged and appreciated the 1993 set for their generous donation. He encouraged other sets to follow suit in supporting the school and urged members of the association to be ambassadors of the college.

The newly elected executive members of the alumni, led by Chairman Niyi Patrick Ajani, pledged their commitment to the development of the alumni set and the continuous support of their alma mater.

This philanthropic act demonstrates the spirit of giving back and the strong bond among the alumni, contributing to the technological advancement of FCE Abeokuta.
