A growing concern has been raised by graduates of the 2020 class at the Federal College of Education (Technical), Gombe, regarding the inordinate delay in issuing their results.

Despite numerous follow-ups, many students have waited for three years without receiving their statement of results.

The delay is attributed to the inefficient handling of files, which have been left unattended in various offices, and the lack of personnel in departments responsible for processing results. This has resulted in prolonged periods of inactivity, causing frustration among students who travel from afar only to face disappointment.

The graduates are urging the Provost, Dr. Ali Adamu (Boderi), and the school management to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure the timely issuance of their results . The college, established in 1977, is mandated to produce technical, vocational, and science teachers for primary and secondary schools in Nigeria.

 

As the situation continues to affect the academic and professional prospects of the affected graduates, it remains to be seen how the college administration will respond to this pressing concern.
