Federal College of Technology, Akoka Matriculates 396 Students

In an annual tradition, the Federal College of Technology (FCE) in Akoka has matriculated a total of 396 students for its 2023/2024 academic session. The matriculation ceremony saw 353 candidates enrolling for the National Certificate Examination, while an additional 43 candidates enrolled for the Professional Diploma in Education.
Despite the celebratory occasion, the College's Provost, Dr. Wahab Azeez, expressed concerns over the decline in the number of matriculating students compared to previous academic years. Dr. Azeez emphasized the importance of discipline, loyalty, honesty, and good character among the student body, urging them to uphold these values throughout their academic journey.

Furthermore, Dr. Azeez cautioned against engaging in unlawful activities that could compromise the standards of education and detract from the College's mission. To ensure the safety and security of all students, the College has implemented comprehensive security measures, including 24/7 surveillance by trained personnel and the use of close-circuit television and cameras.
