Dr. Temitope John Alake, the Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, has reaffirmed his dedication to prioritizing the welfare of the institution's staff during a recent visit by the South West zonal leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP).

Speaking passionately during the courtesy visit on Friday, June 7, 2024, Dr. Alake emphasized the importance of kindness and humaneness in fostering a better working environment. He expressed his belief that supporting others does not diminish one's own achievements but rather enhances collective progress.

A former Chairman of ASUP at the institution himself, Dr. Alake urged union leaders to mentor their members effectively, aiming to bring out the best in each individual. He highlighted the need for a harmonious relationship between the union and management, essential for achieving institutional goals.
