Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Establishes Oil and Gas Centre, Appoints Pioneer Directors
The Management of the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has approved the establishment of an Oil and Gas Centre as part of its strategic drive to strengthen research, training, and innovation in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.
The Management of the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has approved the establishment of an Oil and Gas Centre as part of its strategic drive to strengthen research, training, and innovation in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.
Following the approval, the Polytechnic announced the appointment of Engr. Alhassan Mohammed, former Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology, as the Pioneer Director of the Centre.
In the same vein, Dr. Umar Garba Pan, former Dean of the School of General Studies and Head of the Department of Science Laboratory Technology, has been appointed as Deputy Director of the Oil and Gas Centre.

In a related development, the Management also approved the appointment of Mal. Bello Dogoji Adamu as Deputy Director, Directorate of University Affiliation and Linkages.
The Rector of the Polytechnic, Alhaji Sani Usman, charged the newly appointed officers to deploy their wealth of experience and years of service in driving the objectives of their respective offices, noting that expectations are high.
All appointments take immediate effect.
