Federal Polytechnic Bauchi to Deploy 3,050 Students for 2024 SIWES

Federal Polytechnic Bauchi is set to deploy 3,050 students for the 2024 Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES). The orientation for the students was held at the Polytechnic's 510 Hall, with the Rector, Alhaji Sani Usman, emphasizing the importance of matching academic knowledge with practical skills.

Represented by Deputy Rector Dr. Dalhatu Sa’id, Usman highlighted that SIWES is an opportunity for hands-on experience crucial for national development, urging students to be diligent and act as positive ambassadors for the institution.

Dr. Hamisu Idi, Director of SIWES, outlined the requirements and procedures, stressing that the institution will not tolerate truancy or inefficiency. Malam Auwal Muhammad, from the ITF Bauchi Office, advised students to maintain professionalism, adhere to safety guidelines, and display good behavior throughout their placements.
