Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda has released its amended academic calendar for the 2024/2025 session. Key dates include the opening of the admission portal on April 15, 2024, the commencement of first-semester lectures on November 4, 2024, and matriculation on March 4, 2025.

Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda Releases Amended Academic Calendar for 2024/2025 Session

The Directorate of Academic Planning at Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda has officially released the amended academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session. The revised schedule outlines key academic activities, including lecture periods, examination dates, and board meetings.

The calendar kicks off with the opening of the admission portal for the 2024/2025 academic session on Monday, April 15, 2024. ND1 students for the 2023/2024 session will proceed on their Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) from August 26 to November 22, 2024.

Lectures for the first semester will commence on November 4, 2024, and conclude on March 12, 2025. Matriculation for new students is set for March 4, 2025, while first-semester examinations will take place from March 13 to March 28, 2025. The first-semester break will last from March 29 to April 6, 2025.

The second semester will begin on April 7, 2025, with lectures running until July 31, 2025. The examination period for the semester is scheduled for October 6 to November 14, 2025, followed by a break from August 1 to October 5, 2025.

The academic board has also scheduled several key meetings to deliberate on examination results and other academic matters. The end-of-year Academic Board meeting will be held on December 17, 2025.
