Federal University Dutse Announces Temporary Suspension of MBBS Admissions for 2024/2025 Academic Session

The Federal University Dutse (FUDUTSE) has announced the temporary suspension of admissions into its Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) program for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The university cited the need to offset the backlog of previously admitted students as the reason for the suspension. Despite this, the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) recently commended the university's College of Medicine during an accreditation visit, praising its settings and organization.

The suspension is temporary, and admissions for the MBBS program will resume in the next academic session (2025/2026). The university encourages interested applicants to consider other academic programs available.
