Federal University Dutse Instructs 2025 Admission Applicants on Verification and Registration

The Federal University Dutse (FUD) has directed all candidates seeking admission for the 2025/2026 academic session to verify their admission status through both the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and the FUD Post-UTME portal.

The Federal University Dutse (FUD) has directed all candidates seeking admission for the 2025/2026 academic session to verify their admission status through both the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and the FUD Post-UTME portal.

The notice, issued by the Office of the Registrar, Directorate of Academic Affairs (Admissions Unit), outlines the procedures candidates must follow.

  1. Admission Check on JAMB Portal
    Applicants are required to visit the JAMB website at www.jamb.gov.ng, log in to CAPS under the Candidates section, and check or accept their admission offer.

  2. Admission Check on FUD Portal
    Candidates must also access the university’s Post-UTME portal at www.putme.fud.edu.ng to confirm their admission. After paying the non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦2,000, they can follow instructions to print their admission letters.

  3. Registration for Newly Admitted Students
    Registration will commence on Monday, December 1, 2025. Newly admitted students are to report to their respective departments or faculties for verification and clearance with original credentials before completing central registration on the university portal.

The university further stated that additional admission lists will be released in line with ongoing JAMB admissions.
