Federal University Dutse Secures Accreditation for 10 Key Programs, Including Cyber Security

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has officially accredited 10 programmes at the Federal University Dutse (FUD) in Jigawa State, as announced on Tuesday.

According to a statement from FUD spokesperson Abdullahi Yahaya, the accreditation approval was communicated to Vice-Chancellor Abdulkarim Mohammed in a letter signed by NUC’s acting director of accreditation, Abraham Chundusu.

The accredited programmes include Master in Public Policy and Administration, Fisheries, English, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Criminology and Security Studies, and Political Science. Additionally, Cyber Security received interim accreditation pending further review.
