Federal University Dutse Warns Students Against Late Coming to Lectures

The Faculty of Computing at the Federal University Dutse has issued a circular reminding students to resume lectures following the start of the second semester on August 12, 2024. It has been observed that many students have yet to return, even as the semester enters its fifth week.

The university emphasizes the importance of attendance, stating that, according to the National Universities Commission (NUC) guidelines, students must achieve a minimum of 70% attendance to be eligible to sit for examinations. To enforce this, the Faculty will require lecturers to submit attendance records for all courses at the end of the semester.
