Federal University Dutsin-Ma Hosts Series of Events for 9th Convocation Ceremony

The Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) is set to celebrate its 9th convocation with a series of significant events starting on November 1, 2024. The festivities will kick off with the Chancellor's Gala Night at the Paramount Event Center in Katsina, beginning at 7:00 PM. This gathering aims to honor distinguished guests and set the tone for the subsequent activities.

On November 2, 2024, FUDMA will hold its main convocation ceremony, where the university will confer honorary doctorate degrees to four prominent individuals: Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, First Lady of Nigeria; His Excellency, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, President of the Senate; His Excellency, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Defense; and Hon. Engr. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar Bichi, Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations. The ceremony will take place at the University Sports Arena, starting at 10:00 AM.

Additionally, a convocation lecture will be delivered on the same day at 2:45 PM. FUDMA's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Armaya'u Hamisu Bichi, invites all members of the university community and guests to join in these momentous celebrations, highlighting the achievements and growth of the institution.
