Federal University Gashua Provides Update on NELFUND Upkeep Payment and Institutional Fee Disbursement

The Students' Leader of Federal University Gashua, Muhammed Alhaji Adamu, has provided an update on the status of NELFUND upkeep payment and institutional fee disbursement for students.

The university management has been engaging with NELFUND officials to address issues affecting the payment of upkeep allowances for students. According to the update, the delay in approval and payment was initially caused by NELFUND, but progress is being made to resolve the issue.

The Students' Leader is working to resolve the issue of changing the dashboard status of FUGA students from "Verified" to "Approved", which will enable them to reapply for the current session.

The Bursary Department has confirmed the disbursement of fees for 109 students who submitted their account details. Students experiencing issues are advised to lodge complaints at Room 209, VC Complex, or send someone to report on their behalf.

The Students' Leader has assured students that everything is being done to settle the issues and credit their upkeep allowances to their accounts soon. Students are advised to remain patient and avoid spreading rumors.
