Nasarawa Health College Uncovers Fake Students, Calls for Investigation

The management of Olivet College of Health Technology, Azuba, in Lafia Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, has uncovered over eleven individuals allegedly parading themselves as students of the institution.

According to the college, the impostors were reportedly using its official letterheads to operate and gain access to medical laboratory facilities across the state, raising serious concerns about public health and professional standards.

The institution’s authorities have since called on relevant security agencies and regulatory bodies to launch a thorough investigation into the matter and bring the perpetrators to justice.

They further urged members of the public, especially health facilities, to verify the authenticity of students and interns before granting access to laboratory practices, stressing that the act not only tarnishes the reputation of the college but also poses grave risks to healthcare delivery in the state.
